Which new features matter to you most?

We added two new menus to the menu bar (left). The new menus are "Images Today" and "Images Yesterday".

Their function should be self-explanatory. :)

In addition, the "Image Archive" menu was changed to "All Images", however, it still allows you to drill down by date.

To import a chart from charthub.com please follow the below instructions. This applies to Investor/RT & MarketDelta charts where the user has posted the definition. In that instance you will see "Definition" above the chart followed by a save icon. If you click on Definition it will open the text of the definition in a new browser window. If you click on the save icon it should prompt you for a location to save the definition.

To import a definition (chart, quotepage, layout, etc) into Investor/RT from ChartHub, click on the "Definition" link above the image to open up the definition in a browser window. Then select all the definition text (with Ctrl-A or Edit:Select All). Then copy the definition to your clipboard (Ctlr-C or Edit:Copy). Then, in Investor/RT, choose "File: Import: Definition from Clipboard" from the main menu.

Shared charts now show comments/descriptions. We suggest you go into Setup, Preferences, Sharing and set When Sharing Images to "Ask Me". Also, we suggest that you enter a nickname on the top so all the charts you share are grouped together.

In addition, you now have the ability to search all posted charts. The Search function will search the chart name and the comment/description field.

If you set a "Nickname" in Investor R/T or MarketDelta the site will now group charts you post. The option is located under Setup, Preferences, Sharing. In addition, there are options for sharing a definition and adding a comment. Sharing a definition allows others with IRT or MarketDelta to import that definition quickly. This makes it very easy for someone to view a chart with your exact settings (without having to walk them through all the settings/preferences to get a chart like yours).

If you set a nickname, you will see a link at the top of the image that says "more charts from this user". Clicking on that link will take you to a list of charts posted by that user.

In addition to the Latest Chart Uploads section, we now have an Image Archive section that will allow you to browse previous images. The directories are broken down into (numeric) Year/Month/Day.

Just click the Image Archive link in the left menu. The current path is displayed at the top of every image for easy (one-click) navigation.

Investor/RT 8.5 now has one click chart posting (to charthub.com) capabilities.
